Physician assistants (PAs) practice medicine under the supervision of physicians 和 surgeons. PAs are formally trained to provide diagnostic, 治疗, 和 预防 health care services, 由医生授权. PA programs require prior healthcare experience with h和s-on patient care. You can get healthcare experience by being a medical assistant, emergency medical technician (EMT), 护理人员, 和平队志愿者, 和更多的. You must submit a 医师助理 shadowing form including at least 30 hours of documented paid or volunteer work.
